Came here for my birthday lunch. It's been over a year since last visit. Not as busy as before...was seated right away. Food was surprisingly good, albeit a bit too expensive. They nailed it with the chicken feet (great flavor), the siu-mai was jumbo and fulfilling, a surprise dish was the spinach shrimp dumpling. Definitely worth a try. One thing that frustrates me is the disposable items they use while we dined - plastic sauce containers for the rice noodle role, mustard sauce, paper cups for water.

We love Lunasia and their dim sum! Lunasia offers a wide variation of dim sum and it's all so delicious! We particularly love the hargow dumplings, shiu mai, chicken feet, and egg rolls. For entrees we like the chinese broccoli w/ oyester sauce, pan fried garlic string beans, chicken chow mein noodles, and the kung pao chicken (dark chicken meat). This restaurant is so clean and the service is great! Love that they have such good AC that I can order hot oolong tea on a hot day! lol They have plenty of chili options such as sriracha and oil chili depending on personal preference. I love both!

This may be my favorite restaurant in the country! I came for my first time from Omaha NE, and had an amazing experience. Every dish was delicious, but our top favorites were the chili oil fish, and honey walnut shrimp. The sautéed green beans made a close second too. Amazing food quality, and quick cooks as well! Dishes come out family style and we all got to share and try so many things this way. The service was a little slow but this is due to how packed the place is--a testament to the quality of the food! This is by far the top of the list next time I am in LA, and my local friends agree!

Lunasian offers exceptional dim sum that you can enjoy for dinner as well. Although the prices are on the higher side, the quality is undeniable. They bring the food straight from the kitchen! We particularly loved the honey walnut shrimp, Chinese donut, and chow mein. Unfortunately, they were out of dantat today, which was a bit disappointing. On a side note, their closing time on Sunday is 8pm, so we found ourselves rushing out the door.
